Congratulations on your acceptance to the University of Houston – Clear Lake. Celebrate your admission during our biggest event of the year – exclusive to accepted students! 

As an admitted student, you have an exciting opportunity to earn a $250 Orientation Launchpad Scholarship! To qualify, simply complete the online pre-orientation modules in the Orientation Launchpad and submit your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) today, Saturday, April 25 before attending Admitted Student Day!

After completing the Orientation Launchpad Scholarship requirements, you’ll unlock eligibility for an additional $500 Admitted Student Day Scholarship! To receive this award, make sure you register for and attend Admitted Student Day on Saturday, April 25, clear any registration holds on your account, meet with an academic advisor, and enroll in at least half-time for Summer 2026 or Fall 2026. All requirements must be completed by May 2.

What to Expect:

• Register for classes on the spot with academic advisors and leave with your schedule in hand

• Receive personalized help with financial aid, FAFSA, holds, and registrar questions

• Sign up for Orientation and complete pre-registration steps

• Visit college open houses and connect directly with faculty in your major

• Hear from current students during a live student panel

• Explore campus resources at the Student Resource Fair

How to Prepare:

• Activate your student account at Go.UHCL.edu (First Time User → create password → set security questions → set up Duo Mobile).

• Complete Orientation Launchpad modules before the event.

• Submit Bacterial Meningitis vaccination (required if under 22).

• Complete Texas Success Initiative (TSI) requirements or confirm exemption.

• Submit final transcripts and test scores; bring a sealed copy showing any in-progress courses

Admitted Student Day is your all access enrollment day where everything comes together. Lock in your classes, get your questions answered, connect with other future Hawks and learn more about student life and resources! Leave campus fully registered and ready for your first semester as a Hawk!
